Ingredients
- 1/2 lb of ground pork or beef (optional: marinate in some soy, wine, corn starch)
- one package of firm tofu; dice into 1/4″ cubes
- dice 1-2 scallions
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp ground garlic
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy
- 1 tbsp Chinese red chilli paste
- 1 tbsp wine
- 1/4 cup of chicken stock
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- a few pinches of white pepper to taste
- 1 tsp corn starch
Instructions
- heat 3 tbsp oil, add ginger and garlic, then stir fry meat until disintegrated and brown
- add well stirred sauce, stir content until the sauce starts to thicken
- add tofu, continue to stir, add a bit of water if it is too thick
- stir until cooked, take out and sprinkle scallion on top
