Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 small/medium piece of ginger, ground
- 1 tsp crushed chinese peppercorns
- 1 tsp of garlic, ground
- 1 tbs of scallion
Sauce
- 1 heaping tbs sugar
- 3 tbs vinegar
- 1 tbs sesame oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Instructions
Prep Cabbage
- Cut cabbage into salad-size pieces
- Sprinkle some salt on and let sit to “sweat out water”, wait at least 20 mins
- Rinse cabbage to remove salt, and remove excess water in salad spinner
Cooking
- Heat some oil in a pan
- Add ginger and red pepper and wait for peppers to darken
- Add cabbage
- Sir fry few minutes
- Add sauce and stir fry 1 min
- Add crushed peppercorns and make sure completely mixed in
